A very detailed account of the ancestors and descendants of Revolutionary War veteran George Steuart born 1736 in Marietta, Pennsylvania, and his wife Margaret Harris. By 1761 they were living in what was then Baltimore County, Maryland, by 1775 they were back in Pennsylvania where George died in 1787. Appendixes contain the genealogies of numerous allied families.
