In a lovely vellum binding Limited edition, number thirty-one of a limited print run of five-hundred, signed by the publishers. Printed on English hand-made paper. Joseph Rudyard Kipling was a English journalist, novelist, poet and short story writer. Born in colonial India, Kipling spent his school days in England. Though for a time Kipling returned to India, he eventually settled in England. One of the leading authors of the 19th and 20th century, he is perhaps famous for his charming novel 'The Jungle Book'. In a paper vellum binding with gilt lettering to the spine and front board. Externally, a trifle rubbed. Boards are warped. Top tie is broken. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good.
