This book began very well--three believable and distinctive characters, But then they blather a plethora of four letter words (all of them!) THAT A READER HAS TO WADE THROUGH, AND--WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT? THE CRISIS/CLIMAX COMES JUST WHERE A CREATIVE WRITING TEACHER SAYS IT SHOULD, WITH UNBELIEVABLE CAPTURE, EXPLOSIONS, HOSPITALIZATION--ALL THE CLICHES ANYONE COULD WANT and some the reader doesn't want. The reader knows what the conclusion will be, and will feel used and manipulated by the writer, who should know better than to buy into such formula stuff.
