If you long for the good old days of teenage angst set in the 1950's then doesn't get any better than this Tobey Heydon book. Simpler times and nostalgia for a time I never experienced myself (I was a teenager in the mid-1970's) make this one of my favorite "easy on the soul" books.
Tobey has been wearing Brose's class ring hoping that someone would notice and her little sister Midge is the who notices it first. The book follows the sweet romance between Tobey and Brose through out the school year, through ups and downs and who could ask for anything more?
Read at your own risk. You may just have to read the sequels too. What a treat.
