Seller's Description:
Good. Illustrated in black and white. 247 pages, 4to, blue cloth with gilt stamping (spine cracked and faded; flyleaf torn). New York: Dalton House, Inc, 1949. A good copy. Inscribed on the title page with a handsome sketch of a sculpture: "To my very dear friends Nat and Elsie with love, Chaim Gross." Gross's pen apparently ran out as he was signing his name, so he started over with a new pen. Lombardo's signature appears underneath.
