The trio is joined on this CD by none other than Stéphane Grappelli, the world-renowned French jazz violinist, who played in the '40s and '50s with Django Reinhardt. In 1993, they did Grappelli's first part of his Carnegie Hall concert in New York, and afterward they produced this CD together. Stochelo was then only 17 years old. They play some original pieces, but as well old successes from Django Reinhardt, Stéphane Grappelli, Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Sonny Rollins, and others.
