Don't think twice...you NEED this guide. Magic Lantern gives info not found in the user manual. It is much, much easier to use than the user manual from Canon - particularly when you need to look up a specific item in a hurry. I have purchased two of these guides. The first one disintegrated from repeated use. In addition to the personal benefits, this guide will be a very useful accessory/sales tool when it comes time to sell your camera.
