They convince the group to craft a tastefully nude calendar featuring the usual ladies' activities of gardening and baking, as photographed by the young amateur Lawrence (Philip Glenister). The writing, acting, and cinematography are amazing. This true story is as touching as it is funny. I know for a fact that this movie has inspired such a calendar in a senior center in Maryland (hide behind the plant please).
