The photos capture the tremendous variety of caboose designs, as well as the huge diversity of heralds & color schemes that have adorned the caboose. The text recounts some caboose lore, manufacturing & operational information & even some caboose related music is covered. The next two volumes will cover, in a similar fashion, the other areas of this country, Canada & Mexico. The whole book is a riot of color & would have great eye appeal, even to those not very familiar with the subject. Very few books anywhere have this many color photos at this price.
