New burlesque's greatest art: Kudos to Korero!
Neo burlesque, new burlesque and everything in between gets royal treatment as the hippest of hip artists strut THEIR stuff in a wildly excellent collection.
As a burlesque fan (and Mitch O'Connell fan and collector), I've always admired the flyers and show posters that vanish as quickly as they go up; here are the best of the best of both established names and new killer design. When artists can do their work out of love of the medium the best always comes shining through. Evocative of the 60s Bill Graham rock poster era, modern burlesque posters are even more rare unless, of course, you rip them off of lightpoles and walls. Save yourself an arrest, this outstanding volume is beautiful and a "must own" for any body who either designs for a savvy audience or loves tassels... or both. HIGHLY recommended!
BTW: can anyone tell me the CD collection that was influenced by this book's cover?
