A very good starting book
I am a new modeler, but have some limited experience machining. Using this book, I was able to build the Stuart 10H - and I am quite happy with it. I am now moving on to the beam engine and most of what I need is contained in this book. Andrew provides very good pictures of the parts and operations, as well as excellent descriptions. I mentioned that I have limited machining - Andrew's book helped change some of my bad techniques.
I really liked the book and highly recommend it.
