The Fajarowicz Gambit (3 de Ne4) is also covered. International Master Otto Borik is a former West German champion who played in the 1978 Olympiad team. He is editor of the chess magazine "64". This book is part of the "Batsford Gambit Series" which has been designed to meet the needs of the competitive player. Each volume deals with a particular opening and the early attempts to obtain sharp and interesting play by a pawn sacrifice. All the authors are International Masters and Grandmasters.
