In spite of Sinegal's zydeco credentials, this is a fairly straight blues album with faint or nonexistent traces of zydeco. Even the instrumental "Blues into Zydeco" is more a hard-charging roadhouse number than something listeners would be likely to identify as a zydeco cut.
