What a Loveing Metaphor Between Brothers!
As a "new" resident of Mississippi, my book club thought it was fitting to re-read some of their great Mississippi writers ! I agree with their choices, so far. I loved the book's boyhood stories and closeness shared, for a lifetime, between two brothers ! Being an "old English" teacher, I had to investigate the metaphorical title. I was not disappointed, the metaphorical meaning just deepened the simple story of two brother's living in tthe "Bible-Belt" of Mississippi !!!
