The poet Clayton Eshleman had a long relationship with reader and collector Richard Levasseur which shows in Eshleman's often elaborate inscriptions to Levasseur and Richard's partner. A lovely association copy. 19 printed sheets in cloth box with printed labels and lovely interesting ivory tooth fasteners. Signed by both Clayton Eshleman and and the artist William Paden. One of 250 copies this is number 93. Woodcuts are printed on Japanese mulberry paper and all cutting and printing was done by the artist in Kyoto in 1968. Fine and bright and a lovely scarce copy.
