Spine and margins of covers lined with yellowed cellophane tape, 2 ½ x 2 ½ x ¾ inch piece torn off upper right corner of rear cover, ½ inch pieces off other corners, several lesser tears and chips, wrinkle lines and some soil, scuffed, previous owner's signature on front cover. Internally, previous owner's signature on title page and two other pages, tape marks and some soil on title page, lightly age yellowed, tanning on 2 adjoining leaves from laid-in newspaper clipping, two laid-in handwritten tanning formulas, 2 ½ inch tear at top edge of last leaf, otherwise clean and unmarked.
