This is a good mystery, one of NR's earlier books. One I will keep in my library, and read again.

Brazen Virtue is wonderful.
This sequel to Sacred Sins tells Ed's story.
Ed meets Grace, a writer, when she arrives at her sister's house for a visit. Her sister, a teacher, lives next door to Ed's newly purchased house. While they are out on their first date, Grace's sister is raped and murdered. Ed and Ben, his partner, are the team who are assigned to investigate Kathleen's murder and the others committed by this obsessed killer.
This steamy romance is smoothly melded with the murder investigation. The sexual chemistry and the tension between Ed and Grace adds oomph to the well crafted and intriguing blend of characters, story and mystery. It's great.
