Excerpt from Branch of Research, Monthly Report of Forest Experiment Stations, Forest Economics, Forest Products, Range Research: September, 1932 Furnishing the equipment for these stations completely exhausted the supply of wood cylinders and duff hygrometers calibrated and in stock at Priest River. Consequently a new supply of wood cylinders was ordered, oven-dried, and is now being field - checked at Priest River to furnish fifty stations with three sizes of wood cylinders. About 250 cylinders are now being compared so that all stations can be supplied in 1955 with calibrated specimens guaranteed to integrate all the weather elements, with a variation of not over 1% in moisture content, when exposed to similar weather.
