Booked For A Hanging
As you can guess from the title someone gets hanged in the story. And its up to Sheriff Dan Rhodes to determine if its suicide or murder. It seems this small Texas town and its surrounding communities see their fair share of crime but usually Sheriff Rhodes is able to keep things under control. This book is one of several in the Sheriff Rhodes series and they are very entertaining. It has a mixture of mystery and humor that I really enjoy.
