the illustrations were wonderful and the accompanying commentary informative and not too verbose.
I will enjoy giving this book as a gift.

The book itself is decent, but i would've liked more pictures. (The hazard of buying online and not in person) So i wish i would've picked a different book, but if a good balance between information and illustrations on a simple level is what you want then this may be a good pick for you.
