Remember, that happened in the future with relation to the past, not the past with relation to the future. Blipped doesn't start where it seems like it should start and ends where practically no one expected, much like the real Blip, also known to future historians as The Decimation of Thanos, when half the world died and the few people who knew what was going on did everything they could to tell everyone everything. Appealing to the highest authority in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is exactly what is going to get us out of this. At least, until God starts answering all those prayers.
