Temptation
This story takes place over a one-day period. It's told in second-person, which is unique in itself, and in real-time.
A married family man from Chicago is in New York, killing time until his flight the next morning. He is approached by a beautiful woman and it leads to him finding himself on both ends of a gun during the night. It showed how easily men can be led away by temptaion, and how it sometimes takes almost losing it all, to appreciate what you have.
The annoying thing about the book was that the author wrote many long run-on sentences with no punctuation I guess in order for you to feel the anxiety and stress of the main character but you feel like it would be nice to catch your breath.
You see what I mean.
