I read this book last summer and I found myself enjoying it to the fullest (don't be intimidated by the size,every page is worth it!) The story chronicles the lives of three best friends who are at different stages in their lives and facing different problems---the married one and her husband are infertile,the second has been trying to get over a deeply buried secret and now regrets it, and the third has ''let herself go''ever since her husband was murdered.Then fourth main character is just not fit for motherhood. What I liked about this book is that it makes one realise that what you really want may not necessarily come as you would have intended it to --- that it may be a lot better than you expected (hence the name).
