NF in VG+ jacket. Octavo. Black cloth covered boards and spine with shiny gilt lettering on the spine. Book has a nearly unnoticable rub at the head of the spine and a slight bumping at the tail. White endpapers. Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp. 173 pages. Dust Jacket has a trace of rubbing at the tip of the lower rear outside corner. No other wear per se, but the jacket loses points for a semicircular watermark visible on the inside of the jacket around the area covering the head of the spine that has caused a faint distortion. Tight and clean. This book came from the collection of Wilfred D. Samuels, who was Associate Professor of English and Ethnic Studies and the former Director of the African American Studies program at the University of Utah. Not terribly common.
