This work covers 342 species and subspecies that inhabit the island; only a small portion of these species are permanent inhabitants. This edition is a new printing of the work published in 1989 for distribution in Cyprus. The original London first edition was published in 1958. No ownership marks. A tight and clean copy in near fine condition in a lightly rubbed but very good dust jacket.
