As the author boarded a plane for the first time in his life, to go to Iraq, he was able to keep his final promise. On October 10, 2003, six months after his son gave his life for his Country. Beyond Honor: A Promise Kept is about a boy growing up with four brothers and one day he joins the Army as a surprise to parents and family.
