From "Bright Lights, Big City" and "Big Boss Man" to "Pretty Thing," "Honest I Do" and "Baby, What You Want Me To Do," most of Reed's essential Vee-Jay hits are here. Everything on this 18-song CD illustrates just how charismatic and distinctive a bluesman Reed was, but sadly, the sound quality is far from ideal -- digital remastering was never JCI's strong point.
