The music heard on this disc comes from Sweden and dates from the early nineteenth century. Though performed by a small Swedish wind symphony, most of it wasn't written for that medium. It's objectionable that the packaging doesn't give a better idea of what one is getting. The Concertante for clarinet, horn, and bassoon in B flat major, Op. 3 (not B major as is indicated in the tracklist) was arranged -- presumably by Bernhard Henrik Crusell, although that isn't actually stated -- from an orchestral concerto.
