Wow! A great perspective!
This book provides great real life examples and helpful insight into the Atonement of Jesus Christ. LDS people often feel they have to "earn" their way into the Celestial Kingdom by running themselves ragged doing everything and all they can possibly do to be "perfect." Although perfection is the ultimate goal, we cannot possibly, as erring human beings, be perfect while we are living on the earth. This book provides great understanding into this topic and breaks it down into easy to digest reflections on life. This book helped me to draw closer to my Savior so that I too may Believe Christ.

Good Christian Advice
This book is not for the non-believer. It was written for those that struggle with what can feel like an ever-growing burden of the Christian faith. This book was written for the believer who's involvement with his/her church has somewhat turned into a long list of "can do's" and "can't do's." This book helps to reinvigorate one's faith and remind why Christ should be fixed as a prominent figure in private and public life.
That being said, the book is written in a very lay person tongue by a very capable professor of ancient theology. Nevertheless, the book suffers from being slightly repetitive. While Robinson does make excellent points using easily relatable stories and experiences, he sometimes spends too much time driving the point home, leaving the reader hoping for a change in literary scenery. Nevertheless, it is a minute problem and should be ignored in order to reap the benefit of the work. The book is an extremely short read and one whose value is in no way reflected by its short length or cheap price. It is an excellent read for any person of any Christian faith as it focuses completely on the Savior and how His teachings figure into everyday life, even when it seems they never could.
