Detective Inspector Andy Spearing isn't too happy about these new changes. Mark may be a personal friend, but Spearing has a specific way of doing things. He also isn't fond of his new detective sergeant, Kevin Devlin. Devlin is one of the "trained brains" of the New Scotland Yard who shun tried and true detective work for the latest criminology techniques coming out of Quantico and Langley. But Devlin will prove to be different from the other "trained brains." When he and Spearing catch a case involving crooked MI5 agents, a mobster's widow, and a mysterious assassin nicknamed "The Fox," Devlin proves his worth.
