Excellent, realistic grasp of the day to day life of an orchestral musician. Great advice that is not normally handed out to students at their colleges, music schools, etc. I highly recommend this book to everyone involved with or wants to be involved with a professional orchestra. The only drawback to American musicians are the specific references made in the book to British schools and resources. Is there a book out there for us here in the States? If not, there should be.
