Rosemary Weston lives in a safe, cozy North Carolina village in 1790. Every day brings chickens to feed, herbs to gather, and lots of time to explore the nearby forest. Change is about to arrive, though, in the form of a cooper and his young, pregnant wife, who fast becomes Rosemary's first true friend. Soon evil rumors of witchcraft and evil spread. As the gossip begins to spoil the calm of her village, Rosemary is the first to take action.
