I was pleased to find this 1964 book available, reasonably priced, and in good condition. This book, along with Cornelli Barnett's, "Engage the Enemy More Closely" (978-0-39302-918-2), are often referenced on the "Service Histories of Royal Navy Warships in World War 2" web page on Naval-History.Net. Although there are many newer and more detailed books now available on this subject, Macintyer's book has proven to be a good and concise reference for general details and overview.
