Excerpt from Baronia Anglica Concentrata, or a Concentrated Account of All the Baronies Commonly Called Baronies in Fee, Vol. 2: Deriving Their Origin From Writ of Summons to Parliament, and Not From Any Specific Limited Creation I however embarked in a Sea, where he was afraid to venture. To any other Members of the College of Arms I am not under the smallest obliga tion unless it may be when for the purpose of casting some obloquy upon me, they have done me the honor to mention my name, thereby showing that I was an object of their notice. With reference to the Contents of this Volume, a portion of it was printed in the Stemmata Anglicana, but much is herein added, with appendixes not before published, together with many notes, and other elucidatory matter, which combined with the Con tents of the other Volume, I trust will be found an aggregate of more general interest to the public at large, than the Peerage Histories hitherto published have developed.
