Good. First edition. Light brown pebbled cloth. Front hinge starting but sound. Contemporary former owner signature (probably a midwest bank manager). A few spots at foredge of front board. Henry Parker Willis, the son of Universalist minister and suffragist Olympia Brown, was the first Secretary of the Federal Reserve Board, serving between 1914 and 1918. He graduated from the University of Chicago with a Ph. D in 1897. Willis taught economics and political science at Washington and Lee University. He was professor of economics at George Washington University, and at Columbia in 1919. Perhaps the Fed could use a review! Ships from Dinkytown in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
