The solid instrumental performance ensures total musical gratification, and Lau's beautiful vocal possibilities also fit the bill, even if one could expect that she got rid of the pop mannerisms displayed in the opening track. The album's marketable orientation (where the worst is the absence of improvised extended solos) doesn't impede them of producing excellent music, and that's obvious since a superficial look to the repertory - folkloric themes, tunes by Edu Lobo, Dorival Caymmi, Tom Jobim, Jorge Ben and the group's collective originals.
