Its plinking pianos and echoing production quality gives the majority of Quiet Time the feel of a music box, twinkling in another room as you lay on the carpet in the warm sunlight. While new age is certainly a touchstone for these mostly original compositions, the heavy atmospherics of that genre never enter into play here, allowing tracks such as "Moonlight," "Rainbow," and "Do You Know How Many Stars There Are?" some breathing room around the edges.
