I had fond memories of this book, which was awarded to me in Grade 7, then stolen when I was student teaching. I was thrilled to follow a tenuous memory of one character's name over the internet to re-discover the title, then find the book through Alibris. The stories range from humorous to harrowing, and cover the globe. Each story was chosen by a prominent author, and the authors' reasons for their choice are as interesting as the stories. Great for family discussions, or for adults to enjoy on their own.
