The ECC99 tube from JJ is perfectly suited for this task: due to its comparatively high-power dissipation and simultaneously low internal resistance, it can be used in both power amplifiers and preamplifiers. In this book, this tube is used to describe the construction of the following stereo amplifiers: - a parallel-push-pull amplifier with an output power of 11 watts - a parallel single-ended amplifier with an output power of 4 watts - a single-ended amplifier for 120 EUR.
