An anatomy student needs illustrations that give a clear depiction of the layout of individual structures, unobscured by detail that detracts from the main relationships within those structures. Such illustrations can be produced only by a very close collaboration of artist and anatomist and better still if the anatomist himself draws them. This atlas is the result of Dr. Singh's life time's work as both anatomist and artist.
