This is not a book for the serious student of astrology. Ms. Herring devotes 420 words in the section entitled "A Labor of Love: The Moon's Role in Your Career" to essentially say that the Moon shows what you are interested in.
There is no mention in this "work" on the Moon in Astrology of the solilunar phases, of the lunar nodes, of the progressed syzygies. Over two hundred pages are devoted to vague cookbook readings of the Moon in signs and houses.
Steven Forrest, whose student Ms. Herring was, says in his Foreword to the book that the old astrology was "predictive and descriptive." For the student who believes that astrology's function is to describe and predict...don't waste your money.
