Anotrher not very interesting thriller by Ted Bell
I bought the first two books in the Alexander Hawke series by Ted Bell on recommendation by a nephew. He's a long-haul trucker and spends a lot of his down time reading thrillers and spy novels. I bought them because he recommended them but I read them because I spent good money on them. I did not enjoy them. This second book was just as poorly written as the first. The language is overblown. The characters are too broadly drawn. The plot is padded with pointless digression and what little there is, is eminently predictable.

Assassin
I enjoy all of Ted Bell's books. A good read for evening relaxation.

hyper-thriller
Alex Hawke and his band of merry men are back in the do. Very evil villians, both male and female. The books in this series continue to entertain and amuse. Some consider the characters stereotypical, but, this is not high literature, just really fun entertaining reading. The novel is fast paced and a really good techno-thriller.

Graphic Violence
An even better story than Hawke, but with a disgusting villain and a few wicked, female assassins. It was even more violent and graphic, with again, very offensive language. Who talks like that? He also tends to make his characters very stereotypical.
