A through commentary of the South China Sea region
I was curious about the turmoil over this region that China seems to be trying their best to dominate. This book gives a very good assessment of the history of the region, apparently animosities go a long way back among the nations in the adjacent areas. The book reinforces the need to keep these vital sea lanes open, but how this will play out needs to be seen.
