Copiously illustrated in colour and black and white throughout. Bookplate of film director, actor and writer Bryan Forbes (1926-2013). An attractive personalised bookplate with the B.J. F monogram and a stylised tree with pine cones and a 'Napoleonic' bee beneath. The pine cones refer to his house 'Seven Pines' at Virginia Water. Near fine in near fine dust jacket.
