Mavis Lewis was motivated to address the topic of Wills as a result of her association with friends and the deaths of their relatives and close friends, some of whom died without a Will (intestate). She came to realize the importance of one's having a will. For those of her friends and relatives who did not have wills, she became the driving force that encouraged them to write one, many times doing so for them.
