This was a great read. While obviously aimed at the YA market, as a 40+ year-old comics fan, I found the novel enjoyable and action-packed. It bought back some of the nostalgia of being a teen trying to fit in with my peers, but added the excitement one might feel upon dicovering they have super-abilities. Add to that the premise of the misunderstood "super-villain" genius, and Lyga's first installment takes "teen angst" to new levels. I can't wait to read the next one!
