This book offers suggestions for how to organize your associations in a visual way. It's really fun, even if your associations are likely to be very different from David Byrne's (and why wouldn't they be?)

Not Your Average
I only (and whole-heartedly) recommend this book for reader-thinkers who are not upset at content that has an utterly new design pattern. If you merely want a comfortable read, forget this one. If you like stretching your mind, then you can get one wild workout from Byrne. I recommend the book for anybody who enjoys reading Lao-tse AND William Gibson.
