Part II includes readings that explore racism against minority groups including Native Americans, African Americans, Asian Americans, Chican@s and Latin@s, and those with multiracial identities. In Part III, students read about other forms of oppression that exist in the American society including ageism, sexism, ableism, and religious intolerance. The final section of the anthology addresses social change and acting against racism and these other forms of oppression.
