Volume 1 now includes selections of the 16th-century woman poet Labe and Moliere's Le Misanthrope. Additions to Volume 2 include stories by George Sand, a Contes et Nouvelles section, and selections by Andre Breton, Andre Malraux, Marguerite Yourcenar, and the African writer Aime Cesaire.
