Boring, boring and more boring. Call me crazy, which I'm sure some of you will, but I believe a 363 page book should begin getting interesting by the 150th page?! Did this really win the Pulitzer? No seriously. I'm guessing Wilson's credentials may have help in him win this honor.

an English teacher's favorite science book
I've literally read scores of books in my 65 years and this is definitely in my top 5. Its insights into biology and ecology were many. Thank you, Mr. Wilson. You think as a scientist and write as a poet.
